12 of Strategy's 15 largest shareholders add to holdings in Q2
Twelve of the fifteen largest institutional shareholders of Strategy increased their stakes in the company in the second quarter of 2026, according to 13F data published by Strategy itself. The combined value of their positions rose by approximately $1.2 billion compared with the previous quarter. Goldman Sachs led the way with an increase of nearly $407 million.

Goldman Sachs buys heavily, UBS sells
Goldman Sachs increased its position in Strategy by approximately $407 million, making the institution the largest buyer of the quarter. Capital International Investors added $346 million, and BlackRock Asset Management Ireland expanded its stake by roughly $98 million.
Not all major shareholders bought in. Capital Research Global Investors reduced its position by $462 million, the largest reduction among the fifteen. UBS Financial Services also trimmed its stake, with a decline of approximately $140 million.
Strategy remains largest corporate Bitcoin holder in the world
Strategy is known as the publicly listed company with the largest Bitcoin position worldwide. Since August 2026, the company has held more than 840,000 BTC on its balance sheet. Bitcoin is approaching $70.000 and stands at $72K at the time of writing, an increase of 11.6% in the past 24 hours.
The purchases by institutional parties show that large investors continue to express confidence in Strategy despite price fluctuations. The 13F filings, which are submitted quarterly to the US securities regulator SEC, provide insight into the positions of major US asset managers as of 30 June 2026.
