Binance futures volume reaches $1.6 trillion, highest point of 2026
Binance sets a new record for 2026: the platform’s monthly futures volume reaches $1.6 trillion in June. That is the highest level the exchange has recorded this year and a clear sign that derivatives trading continues to move at full pace.
Strongest month of the year for Binance futures
Data from CryptoQuant shows that Binance’s futures volume in June 2026 stands at $1.6132 trillion. This not only surpasses the previous months of this year, but also approaches the peak of October 2025, when volume even reached $1.8428 trillion.
The chart clearly shows how Binance dominates the rest of the market. Competitors such as Bybit, OKX and Bitget remain far behind in absolute volumes. Bybit recorded a volume of $892.9139 billion in June, while OKX came in at $609.8221 billion. Binance’s lead over the number two is therefore significant.
Traders continue to actively take positions
Analyst JA_Maartun of CryptoQuant states that derivatives trading is not losing its momentum. According to him, the jump in futures volume indicates that traders, despite various external factors, are still actively taking positions on the Binance futures market.
The growth compared to May is striking: in that month, volume stood at $556.7088 billion, meaning it nearly tripled in June. Also compared to April and March, when volumes were $700.3298 billion and $718,358 billion respectively, the increase in June is substantial. Whether this trend will continue into July remains to be seen, but the first figures for that month suggest a slightly lower volume.
