Bitcoin ETFs Break Record with 13 Consecutive Days of Outflows
US spot Bitcoin ETFs break an unwanted record. Between 15 May and 3 June 2026, the funds experienced 13 consecutive trading days of net outflows, with total losses reaching $4.33 billion, or approximately 59,351 BTC. According to Galaxy Research, the selling pressure across multiple measurement periods is the heaviest ever recorded, while the Bitcoin price has now fallen to $64K, a decline of 3% in the past 24 hours.
Bitcoin is available at OKX and Bybit.
Record-breaking outflows over multiple periods
Galaxy Research publishes the figures and the numbers do not lie. Over a seven-day period, $2.78 billion disappears from the spot ETFs, representing 39,338 BTC. That is the largest weekly outflow ever recorded in Bitcoin terms. Over ten days, the total rises to $3.06 billion or 42,941 BTC, again the worst result ever in BTC.
The most striking figure comes from the twenty-day period: an outflow of $5.42 billion, equivalent to 73,080 BTC. That period sets a double record: it is the largest outflow of that length ever, both in dollars and in Bitcoin. The fourteen-day period stands at $4.21 billion or 57,889 BTC, making it the second worst ever measured in BTC.
Bitcoin price falls further as pressure persists
The persistent outflows from the ETFs coincide with a sharp decline in the Bitcoin price. Earlier this week, Bitcoin already fell 16% while the S&P 500 was rising, a striking divergence that worries investors. Additionally, the price touches the 200-day moving average, a level that historically serves as an important support zone.
On the holder front, there is little good news either. Short-term holders reach the worst capitulation point of 2026, and only 55% of the total supply is still in profit. Whether the bottom is already in sight remains unclear for now, but the ETF outflow figures show that institutional investors are not yet in a buying position.
