American Bitcoin spot ETFs are attracting fresh capital for the fourth day in a row. On 22 September, $715 million flowed in on a net basis, according to data from SoSoValue. Ethereum spot ETFs are not faring much differently: they are posting three consecutive days of positive inflows, amounting to $162 million on the same day. At the time of writing, Bitcoin itself stands at $85.600, a slight decline of 0.7% over the past 24 hours.

Bitcoin is available at Bitvavo and OKX.

In brief:

  • Bitcoin spot ETFs in the US record net inflows for four days in a row, with $715 million on 22 September
  • Ethereum spot ETFs post positive inflows for three days running, $162 million on the same day
  • The total asset base of Bitcoin ETFs stands at $110.84 billion

Sustained inflows into Bitcoin ETFs

Four consecutive days of net inflows are a sign that institutional demand for Bitcoin through regulated investment products is holding up. Total assets under management of the US Bitcoin spot ETFs now stand at $110.84 billion, according to the SoSoValue data shared by WuBlockchain.

Earlier this month, Bitcoin ETFs already saw $999 million flow in on a single day, and nearly a billion dollars on another trading day. The current streak is more modest in size, but its continuity across several days is notable.

Ethereum follows Bitcoin’s example

Ethereum spot ETFs are also showing a positive trend. With $162 million in net inflows on 22 September and a three-day streak, Ethereum is clearly riding in the slipstream of its larger counterpart. Open interest in Ethereum had already risen to $30 billion, which points to broader market interest.

Whether inflows continue in the coming days depends partly on how the Bitcoin price develops. It is moving around $86.000 and analysts are watching key levels for the coming months. A slight correction of 0.7% in 24 hours is not yet cause for concern, but investors are keeping a close eye on the price.
