Bitcoin price remains trapped between $60.000 and $64.000
The Bitcoin price is currently at $62K and has been moving within a narrow range for some time. Crypto analyst @eliz883 outlines which levels and triggers are most worth monitoring, and why patience is more valuable than quick trading at this moment.
Bitcoin is available at OKX and Bybit.
The zone between $60.000 and $64.000 is decisive
As long as the Bitcoin price continues to move within the range of $60K to $64K, the analyst expects volatility, false breakouts and erratic price movements. This makes it difficult to make reliable decisions based on short-term signals. The chance of trading on a false signal is relatively high in this phase.
There are two scenarios that the analyst considers clear triggers. A recovery to and holding of the $64K level opens the door to a bullish scenario, where a further rise towards higher resistance levels is possible. On the other hand, a convincing loss of the $60K boundary could lead to a bearish acceleration towards lower liquidity levels. As long as the price remains stuck between these two extremes, it is a phase of accumulation or distribution.
Risk management above searching for the perfect trade
On shorter timeframes, according to the analyst, there are interesting trading opportunities, but on the macro level he sticks to a cautious approach. He indicates that he waits for clear confirmation before taking a position, even if that sometimes means profiting less from a move.
Waiting for confirmation does significantly increase the chance of being on the right side of the market. That fits the broader picture of the recent period: Bitcoin previously reached the bottom of a four-month range after a sharp decline, and also short-term holders massively sent Bitcoin to exchanges at a loss. In such an environment, risk management weighs much heavier than the search for the perfect entry.
