Broad rally: majority of coins rise more than 15%
The crypto market is showing a remarkably broad recovery this week. The majority of coins are posting gains of 15% or more over the past seven days, which coincides with a 15% rise in Bitcoin as well. According to analyst Daan, the fact that the rally is so broad is exceptional: normally there are always laggards.
In brief:
- The majority of coins rise more than 15% in seven days
- The rally is broad, with few laggards compared with earlier moves
- Daan warns that the momentum will not last forever
Almost the entire market turns green
The weekly data show that by far the most coins fall into the category of more than 15% weekly gains. Only a small group is in the red, while the group with slight losses of less than 5% also remains limited.
Daan writes on X that such an evenly spread rise is not common. Normally, during a Bitcoin rally, there is always a more mixed picture, with part of the market lagging behind or falling.
Daan warns of declining momentum
Despite the positive picture, the analyst adds a caveat. According to him, the market rarely has enough capital available to drive all coins upwards at the same time over a sustained period. As soon as the momentum begins to fade, it is important to stay alert.
At the time of writing, Bitcoin stands at $85.600, a slight decline of 0.7% over the past 24 hours. Anyone who holds crypto would in any case do well to also keep an eye on the security of their wallets: experts previously warned about a leak in Safari that can expose crypto keys on iPhones.
