CASHCAT memecoin rises 15% and reaches $200M market value on Robinhood Chain

CASHCAT, a memecoin on the Robinhood Chain network, briefly passes the $200 million market value mark. At the time of writing, the coin is still up more than 15% over the past 24 hours, showing that investor interest is not waning for now.

Memes dominate Robinhood Chain at launch

Robinhood Chain only recently launched its public mainnet. At its core, the network focuses on tokenised assets and so-called real-world assets (RWAs). Yet it is not the serious financial products that first draw attention, but rather memecoins like CASHCAT.

That memes dominate so early on a new network is not unique in the crypto world. In several blockchain launches, we have previously seen speculative tokens go viral first, before the infrastructure for serious applications is fully built out.

Market value peaked above $200 million

The chart on DexScreener shows that CASHCAT experienced an explosive rise around July 8, with its market value rapidly climbing from virtually zero to well above $100 million. After a peak around July 12 of approximately $225 million, the price declined slightly, but the coin is now recovering towards $189 million.

Whether CASHCAT can structurally break through the $200 million mark depends heavily on how quickly Robinhood Chain attracts new users and whether broader interest in the network persists. For now, the memecoin remains one of the most notable projects on the young network.
