Crypto.com again reduces cardholder benefits

Crypto.com announced that it will adjust the benefits for users of the Level Up cards. As of 1 October 2026, new rules will apply to, among other things, the rewards and airport lounge access. The changes mainly affect users who like to bring other people to airport terminals.

• Crypto.com lowers CRO rewards on card spending and scraps free lounge access for additional guests
• Cardholders can still bring someone along for free until 30 September, after which it will cost extra
• Other benefits, such as unlimited personal airport lounge access, will be retained

Lower rewards on card spending

The Icy White and Rose Gold cards from Crypto.com will receive a different rewards scheme. The CRO reward per purchase drops to 3.5%, but only up to a monthly amount of approximately $3.000. Anything above that will only yield 0.5% CRO.

In addition, inactivity fees are being adjusted. These vary depending on the country in which the card is active. The fees will go from €5 to €6.

Airport lounge access without guests

The biggest change concerns the guest policy. Currently, cardholders can bring someone to private lounges at airports at no extra cost. This benefit will end on 1 October. Until 30 September, users can still bring a guest free of charge.

After that date, guests can still come along, but it will cost approximately $32. Unlimited personal access to lounges will be retained, and Priority Pass subscriptions remain active without requiring any action from users.

Competitors such as OKX, for the time being, offer their card without lounge access. Bybit Card does not have this facility either.
