Ethereum validator exit queue drops to zero while 2.48 million ETH waits
The waiting list for Ethereum validators wanting to exit has completely emptied. At the same time, a massive queue of 2.48 million ETH is waiting to join the staking network. This striking contrast shows just how strong the demand for Ethereum staking currently is.
Ethereum is available at OKX and Bybit.
Exit queue drops from 2.6 million to zero
According to data from Beaconcha.in, cited by Arkham, the exit queue of the Ethereum validator network currently stands at 0 ETH. This means that validators who want to exit can do so immediately, without any waiting time. Earlier, in September 2025, this queue peaked at over 2.6 million ETH during a period of market stress and changing reward dynamics.
The complete emptying of that queue is a clear signal: long-term stakers are increasingly choosing to hold their positions rather than leave. The pressure to exit has virtually disappeared.
Entry waiting time rises to 43 days
While the exit side is empty, on the other side a queue of around 2.48 million ETH is waiting to enter the network. Validators who want to join now must anticipate a waiting time of approximately 43 days. This huge difference between the two ends of the waiting list shows how strong the demand for staking currently is.
Currently, a total of approximately 40.9 million ETH is staked, which amounts to about 33.55% of the total Ethereum supply. That is spread across around 885,000 active validators, with an average APR of 2.64%. The Ethereum price currently stands at $1.900, a slight increase of 0.3% over the past 24 hours.
