Large Bitcoin Buyers Emerge: Positive Signal for BTC Price
While the Bitcoin price is currently at $64.200 with a slight decline of 1.1% in the past 24 hours, a remarkably positive signal emerges from on-chain data. CryptoQuant notes that large buy orders are starting to appear in the Bitcoin spot market, indicating that major players are building their positions. This could significantly reduce the current selling pressure on Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is available at OKX and Bybit.
Large buy orders appear in the spot market
An analysis by CryptoQuant shows that the average order size in the Bitcoin spot market is exhibiting a notable shift. While the market in recent months was mainly characterised by normal and smaller orders, so-called “big whale orders” have recently become visible on the chart. These are large purchase orders originating from parties with substantial capital.
Analyst Satoureireal of CryptoQuant reports on CryptoQuant that this reflects the accumulation activity of large capital flows that are starting to emerge. According to the analyst, this results in less selling pressure on Bitcoin. The chart clearly shows how these large orders are emerging precisely around the current price levels of $60.000 to $65.000. exactly at a time when many miners are under pressure.
Context: miners sell, but large players buy
The timing of this accumulation is no coincidence. It already became clear earlier that Bitcoin miners are selling BTC en masse while making a loss, which normally puts additional downward pressure on the price. That large players are now starting to buy precisely at this level is seen by analysts as a counterweight to that selling pressure.
The Bitcoin price is thus at an interesting crossroads. On the one hand, there is pressure from miners forced to sell; on the other hand, on-chain signals show that large buyers are becoming active at these levels. Whether this is sufficient to stabilise the price or even drive it higher will become clear in the coming period. Investors are therefore keeping a close eye on the spot market data.
