Limitless, a prediction market running on Base and HyperEVM, has Polymarket as its only major competitor at the top. In the second quarter of 2026, the platform accounted for 7.8% of total onchain protocol revenues in the sector, generating $8.88 million. That puts it in second place, far behind Polymarket but well ahead of competitors such as Predict and Opinion. The LMTS token stood at $0.07375 on 24 August, up more than 3%.

In brief:

  • Limitless is the second-largest onchain prediction market by Q2 2026 protocol revenues
  • The platform generated $8.88 million in revenues, accounting for a 7.8% market share
  • The LMTS token is listed on Coinbase and does not yet have any perpetual contracts

Polymarket remains dominant, but Limitless grows

Figures for the second quarter of 2026 show that Polymarket (international) still dominates the sector with 88.9% of onchain protocol revenues, amounting to $101.02 million. Limitless follows at a considerable distance with 7.8% and $8.88 million. Predict and Opinion lag far behind with 2.9% and 0.4% respectively.

The comparison deliberately excludes Kalshi and Polymarket US, because those platforms do not operate fully onchain. This provides a specific picture of the purely decentralised market.

Analyst buys LMTS on market share and growth

The team behind DoopieCash flags Limitless as a coin that is gaining market share now that prediction markets are firmly in the spotlight.

According to DoopieCash, the presence on Coinbase is a plus, while the absence of perpetual contracts on other platforms makes the token still relatively undiscovered. Unlike platforms with an extensive range of perps, LMTS is not yet represented in that regard. DoopieCash says it has taken a position itself and hopes that revenue growth and broader market attention will drive the price higher. This is a personal opinion and not investment advice.

Price recovers after summer dip

The daily chart shows that from May onwards, LMTS fell sharply from levels around $0.12 to a low below $0.06 in August. This was followed by a sharp recovery to nearly $95, then a pullback and a new recovery towards the current level of $0.07375.

The price is moving around a technical support level that has been tested several times. Whether the recent rise signals a structural recovery also depends on the further development of protocol revenues in the third quarter.
