Robinhood Chain breaks record with $560 million DEX volume in a single day
Robinhood Chain impresses with a series of striking figures. On 8 July, the DEX trading volume reached a new record of over $560 million, while the number of active wallets is heading towards 200,000. The figures point to strong growth of the network in a short time.
Record volume and explosive growth in new wallets
The DEX volume on Robinhood Chain shot up on 8 July to over $560 million, an absolute daily record for the network. From the Dune Analytics data of analyst @adam_tehc it is clear that this figure stands far above previous days, where the volume at its peak remained around $100 million.
The number of active addresses also peaked on that day. In total, 193,187 active addresses were counted, of which 141,565 were completely new and executed their first transaction on the network. The remaining 51,622 are returning users. This means that over 73% of all active addresses on that day are newcomers.
Memecoin activity increases on the network
Alongside the volume and wallet growth, token activity also stands out. On 8 July, nearly 16,000 new tokens were created in a single day. Of all launched tokens, seven memecoins reached a market capitalisation above $1 million. The most notable name is Cash Cat, which grew to a market capitalisation of over $100 million.
The combination of record volume, a large inflow of new users and significant memecoin activity shows that Robinhood Chain is currently attracting a lot of attention. Whether this growth will continue remains to be seen, but the figures from 8 July at least mark a clear turning point in activity on the network.
