Robinhood Chain launchpad volume surpasses PumpSwap with $1.23 billion
Robinhood Chain makes an impressive entrance into the memecoin market. Launchpads on the network generated a staggering $1.23 billion in trading volume in just one week, edging past PumpSwap. Notably, this does not come at the expense of existing platforms, but simply adds volume to the overall market.
Robinhood overtakes PumpSwap in weekly volume
According to data from onchain analyst Adam Tehc, Robinhood Chain launchpads achieved a volume of $1.23 billion in the week of 20 July 2026. PumpSwap follows closely with $1.22 billion, while PumpFun itself accounts for $446.93 million. The combined weekly volume of all three platforms therefore comes to $2.90 billion.
The chart clearly shows how total volume surged sharply around July 2026 compared to the preceding months. Earlier this year, weekly volume typically fluctuated between $800 million and $1.75 billion, but the arrival of Robinhood Chain gave the market a significant boost.
No cannibalisation, but extra activity
An obvious question is whether Robinhood Chain is drawing volume away from established platforms such as PumpFun and PumpSwap. That does not appear to be the case. Adam Tehc states that Robinhood’s volume simply comes on top of PumpFun’s existing volume, rather than replacing it.
This suggests that Robinhood Chain is attracting a new audience or encouraging existing traders to trade more, rather than taking over activity from other platforms. For the Solana ecosystem, this is a positive signal: overall market activity around memecoin launches is increasing, with multiple players able to grow simultaneously without competing with each other.
