Robinhood Chain Surges; Analyst Predicts Flippening of Base
Robinhood Chain is making a strong impression on the blockchain market. Despite some buzz in the community about falling altcoin prices, the network’s on-chain figures all point in the same direction: upwards. One analyst claims that Robinhood Chain could flip Base within 12 months.
Impressive figures across nearly all fronts
The most recent data shows that the Total Value Locked in DeFi on Robinhood Chain stands at $327.69 million, a rise of 5.57% in the past 24 hours. The stablecoin market capitalisation on the network is $481.6 million and the DEX volume over the past day amounts to $480.77 million. This demonstrates that serious liquidity and activity are taking place on the network.
The other statistics are also striking. App revenue over 24 hours is $806.502, while inflows over the same period come to more than $602.000. Total Bridged TVL stands at $969.38 million, indicating that significant capital is flowing toward the network. Chain fees over 24 hours sit at $283.895 and chain revenue at $254.868.
Comparison with Base and expectations for 2027
Analyst @onchainmo states that Robinhood Chain is currently at about a tenth of Base’s level, measured by metrics such as DeFi TVL and stablecoin market cap. Nevertheless, he is convinced that this gap will narrow in the coming months. He expects Robinhood Chain to overtake Base within 12 months. That is a striking claim, because Base has long been regarded as one of the fastest-growing Layer 2 networks.
The analyst is also responding to critics who say that degens are simply chasing the next hype and that Robinhood Chain is temporarily popular. In his view, that is groundless: the fundamentals are solid and chains that are currently in the spotlight will quickly fade away, while Robinhood Chain continues to grow. The network also made headlines earlier when the Robinhood CEO’s X account was hacked and used for a token scam, but that has barely affected the network’s growth.
