The monthly volume of stablecoin card payments exceeded the one billion dollar per month mark for the first time in July 2026. According to data from CryptoRank.io and Paymentscan, the total stood at $1,084 billion, an increase of 16% compared to the previous month. TRON accounted for the largest share, followed by BSC and Optimism.

In brief:

  • The monthly stablecoin card volume surpassed $1 billion for the first time in July 2026.
  • TRON had the largest share with $311.2 million, followed by BSC ($140.9 million) and Optimism ($120.5 million).
  • The volume has grown strongly since the start of 2025 and shows a clear upward trend.

TRON dominates, but several networks are growing too

Of the total volume in July 2026, $311.2 million came from the TRON network, accounting for almost 29% of the total. BSC followed with $140.9 million and Optimism with $120.5 million. Ethereum was in fourth place with $105.8 million, while Solana contributed $97.7 million. Base and Polygon were close together with $74.7 million and $74.1 million respectively. Other networks together accounted for $158.9 million.

Growth visible over more than a year

The CryptoRank.io chart shows that the volume was still well below $200 million per month in March 2025. Since then, the volume has risen almost continuously, with a clear acceleration in the first half of 2026. The figures are seen as an indication that stablecoins are increasingly being used for daily payments via crypto payment cards. Users top up their card with stablecoins and use them to pay at regular points of sale. Whether this growth will continue in the coming months towards the $1.5 billion mark remains to be seen.
