Strategy buys 1,587 Bitcoin for $100 million
Strategy has once again purchased a substantial amount of Bitcoin. Between 8 and 14 June 2026, the company acquired 1,587 BTC for approximately $100 million, at an average purchase price of $63.024 per coin. This brings Strategy’s total Bitcoin position to 846,842 BTC, representing a total investment of $64.07 billion. The average purchase price across all acquisitions stands at $75.656 per Bitcoin.

Purchases financed through share sales
The purchases were paid for with proceeds from share sales through the so-called ATM (at-the-market) programme. This is a common method that Strategy uses to raise fresh capital and convert it directly into Bitcoin. The purchase price of $63.024 per BTC is notably well below the current Bitcoin price, which currently stands at around $66.365. a rise of 3.3% in the past 24 hours.
In addition to the Bitcoin purchases, Strategy also reports an expansion of its dollar reserve. This rises by $100 million to a total of $1.1 billion. The company thus has a solid buffer alongside its enormous crypto position, Strategy reports.
Strategy remains the largest Bitcoin holder in the world
With nearly 847,000 Bitcoin on its balance sheet, Strategy retains its position as the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin in the world. The company, led by Michael Saylor, has been consistently buying more for years, regardless of market conditions. The strategy is aimed at accumulating as much Bitcoin as possible as a long-term reserve asset.
The latest purchase shows that Strategy is continuing this policy unabated. With a total investment of over $64 billion and an average purchase price of $75.656 per coin, the company is currently still underwater on its overall package, as the current Bitcoin price stands at around $66.365, Whether that changes quickly depends on how the market develops in the coming period.
