Trump-linked company transfers $100 million in World Liberty Financial tokens
ALT5 Sigma, a treasury company affiliated with World Liberty Financial, the crypto venture of the Trump family, is moving a large amount of WLFI tokens to a new address. It concerns 1.815 billion tokens with a value of over $99.7 million. The transaction is drawing the attention of on-chain analysts who closely monitor movements from Trump-linked addresses.
In brief:
- ALT5 Sigma moves 1.815 billion WLFI tokens worth approximately $99.7 million to a new address.
- The company still holds 5.09 billion WLFI tokens, valued at around $282 million.
- The transaction is linked to World Liberty Financial, the Trump family’s crypto project.
Major token transfer via the blockchain
On-chain data shows that ALT5 Sigma is carrying out the transfer through the Ethereum network. The new address receiving the tokens is marked as a fresh, still unknown wallet. Whether the tokens are being converted, deployed for other purposes or simply kept in storage is not yet clear.
In addition to this transfer, two smaller transactions are also taking place from the same address. These involve 182 and 180 WLFI tokens respectively, with a value of less than $10 per transfer. These appear to be test transfers rather than strategic moves.
ALT5 Sigma retains a substantial WLFI position
Despite the transfer, ALT5 Sigma remains one of the largest holders of WLFI tokens. After the transaction, 5.09 billion WLFI still sits on the original address, representing a value of over $282 million. This makes the company one of the heaviest weights within the World Liberty Financial ecosystem.
World Liberty Financial is the crypto project associated with the Trump family. The project has already sparked considerable debate, partly because treasury structures around crypto are increasingly coming under scrutiny. The question now is what ALT5 Sigma intends to do with the transferred tokens and whether this marks the start of a larger strategic shift.
