Yuga Labs saves valuable NFTs from Flooring Protocol exploit

Yuga Labs has completed a rescue operation for NFTs that were at risk due to a security vulnerability in the Flooring Protocol. The company managed to secure valuable digital assets and bring them under its own control. CEO Michael Figge announced that the team carried out a white hat rescue operation and that all affected NFTs are now safely stored.

Which NFTs were rescued

The list of rescued NFTs is impressive. It includes 29 BAYC, 4 MAYC, 1 BAKC, 2 CryptoPunks, 1 Azuki, 2 Elementals, 26 Captains, 1 Moonbird and 2 Doodles. This collection represents a significant value in the NFT market.

Yuga Labs chose to front the necessary funds and NFTs through its GrailsOTC division. This ensured that the assets could be removed from danger immediately, without owners losing their money at this point.

Next steps in the process

The company is currently working with the developers of the Flooring Protocol on a permanent fix. Once that is completed, the NFTs will be returned to their rightful owners. This gives owners the assurance that their assets are protected while the exploit is resolved.
