ZachXBT refuses help to victims from certain countries

Onchain investigator ZachXBT will from now on automatically decline help requests from crypto victims in a number of countries. Based on his experiences, he names Canada, the United Kingdom, India, Nigeria and a number of North African and South Asian countries as the least productive regions to handle cases in. His upcoming website will also have restrictions for users from countries he labels as low-quality.

Five regions at the bottom of the ranking

ZachXBT regularly publishes research on crypto fraud and helps victims trace stolen funds. Based on his years of experience, he has now compiled a personal ranking of the five regions where he has had the worst experiences handling cases.

Canada tops that list, followed by the United Kingdom, India and Nigeria. In fifth place is a combination of Morocco, Algeria or Bangladesh. According to WuBlockchain, which shared his comments, ZachXBT says he will likely automatically reject requests from these countries in the future.

New website with access restrictions

In addition to the personal refusal, ZachXBT announces that his upcoming website will deny users from certain countries access to crypto support services. He describes these regions as low-quality countries from his perspective as an investigator.

ZachXBT does not elaborate on what exactly prompted this decision, but the tone suggests that previous cases from these regions have cost him a disproportionate amount of time or disappointed him in other ways. The decision raises questions about the accessibility of independent crypto support for victims in emerging markets.
