The outflow from spot Bitcoin ETFs continues unabated. On 25 June, as much as $696 million net flowed out of these funds, extending the negative streak to six consecutive days. Ethereum ETFs are not spared either: on the same day they recorded a net outflow of $81.87 million, also for the sixth day in a row.

Six Days of Outflow for Bitcoin ETFs

The figures for 25 June show that investors are massively pulling money out of spot Bitcoin ETFs. With a daily outflow of $696 million, this is one of the larger negative flow days in recent weeks. The total net assets in these funds currently amount to $72.57 billion, while the Bitcoin price is around $60.138, a decline of 2.4% in the past 24 hours.

The sustained outflow fits into a broader trend of caution among institutional investors. Earlier this week, it was visible that ETF flows were already significantly negative on 24 June, and the sequence began four days earlier. The market is thus under clear pressure from the demand side.

Ethereum ETFs Also See Six Days of Outflow

Not only Bitcoin is suffering from selling pressure. Spot Ethereum ETFs recorded an outflow of $81.87 million on the same day, and that is also the sixth consecutive day that these funds end in the red. The simultaneous outflow from both Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs points to a broad reluctance in the market, not just for one specific asset.

The pressure on the Bitcoin price is also visible in other corners of the market. Analysts are looking, for example, at the possibility of a double bottom around $61.000, while there is also discussion about where Bitcoin is in the four-year cycle. Whether the ETF outflow will reverse in the short term remains to be seen.
