Spot Bitcoin ETFs saw a solid net inflow of $233 million on 30 July. BlackRock dominates with its IBIT fund, which alone accounts for $183 million of that total. The spot Ethereum ETFs were not idle either, posting a positive result on the same day.

Bitcoin is available at OKX and Bybit.

In brief:

  • Spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a total net inflow of $233 million on 30 July, with BlackRock’s IBIT as the main driver ($183 million).
  • Spot Ethereum ETFs posted a net inflow of over $13.3 million on the same day, with BlackRock’s ETHA standing out at $16.2 million.
  • The Bitcoin price currently stands at $63.900, a slight decline of 0.5% in the past 24 hours.

BlackRock takes the lead with Bitcoin ETFs

On 30 July, a total of $233 million flowed into the spot Bitcoin ETFs. By far the largest share came in through BlackRock’s IBIT fund, which accounted for $183 million. With this, BlackRock once again confirms its position as the dominant player in the ETF market.

This positive result follows a period of mixed flows. Earlier this month, the Bitcoin ETFs suffered outflows for four consecutive days, which makes the current inflow all the more striking. Total assets under management in spot Bitcoin ETFs now stand at $78.76 billion, according to data from SoSoValue. The Bitcoin price is trading at $63.875 at the time of writing, a decline of 0.5% in the past 24 hours.

Ethereum ETFs also in the green

The spot Ethereum ETFs also performed well on 30 July. Total net inflow stood at $13.3 million, with BlackRock’s ETHA as the standout: that fund attracted $16.2 million. The fact that ETHA brought in more than the total is because other funds showed net outflows, which weighed on the overall net result.

The Ethereum ETF market is developing more slowly than that of Bitcoin, but is meanwhile showing consistent positive days. More background on the latest developments around Ethereum can be found in our overview. Earlier, the Bitcoin ETF market attracted $32 million in a previous session, making 30 July a considerably stronger day.
