Third Day of Outflows for Bitcoin ETFs
As WuBlockchain reports based on SoSoValue data, the $57.63 million outflow on 14 August is the third consecutive day on which, on balance, more money flowed out of spot Bitcoin ETFs than into them. A day earlier, outflows amounted to $131 million.
The total net asset value of all spot Bitcoin ETFs combined stands at $76.61 billion. That is considerably lower than the peak of nearly $80.94 billion shown on the chart earlier this season.
Ethereum ETFs Remain Flat, Bitcoin Barely Reacts
The spot Ethereum ETFs showed no movement on 14 August: nothing was deposited and nothing flowed out. That contrasts with the persistent negative trend seen in the Bitcoin variants.
The Bitcoin price itself has so far barely reacted to the outflows. With a daily gain of 0.3%, the price remains close to $63K. Whether that stays the case will depend in part on how Bitcoin handles broader macroeconomic signals.
