Near Protocol price could rise to $3 according to analyst
Michaël van de Poppe, better known as @CryptoMichNL, is positive about the recent movement of Near Protocol. The analyst sees the current rise as a precursor to more, expecting NEAR to move higher in the coming weeks. At the moment, NEAR is trading at $1.91, a rise of 6.7% in the last 24 hours.
Near Protocol is available at OKX and Bybit.
Resistance zone must give way for further rise
According to Van de Poppe, NEAR is currently attempting to break through a key resistance zone. If successful, he expects a return above $2. That level serves as a psychologically important threshold, and a break above it opens the path to the previous highs around $3.
The analyst also looks at the price in euros. He expects an initial consolidation zone between €2.10 and €2.30. After that consolidation, NEAR could push through to a new high in the range of €2.70 to €2.90. That would be a significant upward move from the current level.
Chart shows technical recovery against Bitcoin
The attached chart shows the SOL/BTC price, but the technical reasoning Van de Poppe applies to NEAR follows a similar logic. The chart shows a former resistance level being flipped into support, combined with a break of the 21-day moving average. These are classic signals that analysts see as confirmation of an upward trend.
According to the analyst, a new high on the relative chart against Bitcoin indicates that we are in a period where it is attractive to buy dips in NEAR. The market thus confirms a broader rotation toward altcoins, with NEAR being one of the coins on traders’ radar.
