The spot Bitcoin ETFs show a positive picture on 12 June: all twelve funds together attract $85.85 million in new inflows, without a single fund recording outflows. At the same time, the Ethereum ETFs are heading the other way, with a net outflow of $4.95 million on the same day. That is already the fourth consecutive day that investors are pulling money out of the Ethereum funds.

Bitcoin is available at OKX and Bybit.

Bitcoin ETFs see broad inflows

According to data from SoSoValue, a net of $85.85 million flowed into spot Bitcoin ETFs on 12 June (Eastern Time). Notably, none of the twelve funds showed net outflows, indicating broad-based interest from institutional investors. The Bitcoin price stands at $63.737 at the time of writing, an increase of 0.5% in the past 24 hours.

Earlier this week the picture was different. For instance, Bitcoin ETFs saw outflows for five consecutive days, making the recent inflows all the more striking. The question is whether this is the start of a renewed buying opportunity or merely a short-term rally within a broader correction phase. Analysts at Galaxy suggest that the Bitcoin bottom could be around $40.000 to $46.000 for the rest of 2026.

Ethereum ETF sees fourth consecutive day of outflows

For spot Ethereum ETFs, the picture is less rosy. On 12 June, a net of $4.95 million left the funds, marking the fourth consecutive day with outflows. Investors currently appear to have little confidence in a short-term recovery for Ethereum, which aligns with recent price action where the Ethereum price breaks down.

Yet there are also positive developments surrounding Ethereum. Behind the scenes, improvements are being worked on for the network, including a privacy proposal via EIP-8182 that is being put forward for the upcoming hard fork. Whether that is enough to turn the sentiment around the Ethereum ETFs will become clear in the coming days.
