US Bitcoin ETFs have recorded the second-largest inflow of BTC this week since October 2025. In total, 14,700 Bitcoin flowed into the ETF providers, a sign that demand for Bitcoin through regulated investment products is picking up again. Bitcoin is currently trading around $77.200, up 0.1% in the past 24 hours.

Bitcoin is available at OKX and Bybit.

In short:

  • Bitcoin ETFs record an inflow of 14,700 BTC this week, the second-largest weekly inflow since October 2025.
  • For the whole of August, net inflows already amount to nearly 22,000 BTC.
  • The renewed demand is becoming increasingly visible in the ETF flow data.

Nearly 22,000 BTC flowed in during August

Analyst Darkfost shares the figures behind the recent ETF inflow on X. According to his analysis, the weekly inflow of 14,700 BTC is the second-largest of this year, only the week of October 2025 did better.

Over the entire month of August, some 21,958 BTC in net inflow has now been recorded at the US ETF providers. That is a clear turnaround compared with the previous months, in which outflows were more often the norm.

Demand recovers after period of outflows

The chart from CryptoQuant shows that the inflow weeks of August stand out after a longer period of predominantly negative flows. Especially in the period around April and June 2026 there were substantial outflows, with weeks in which tens of millions of dollars in BTC left the ETFs.

The recent turnaround fits into a broader picture. Bitcoin ETFs already attracted $606 million on 20 August, one of the stronger days of the month. Analysts are closely monitoring the flow data as an indicator of institutional demand.

Whether the Bitcoin price will also recover structurally remains uncertain. CoinShares expects Bitcoin to remain below $80.000 as long as the Fed gives no clarity on interest rate policy. The price is currently moving close to that threshold.
