Tron processes 1.1 billion transactions in Q2 2026

The Tron network posted strong growth figures for the second quarter of 2026. The number of transactions rose 12% compared with the previous quarter to 1.1 billion, while stablecoin settlement volume reached $2.08 trillion. The total value locked on the network also continued to grow. The figures come from data platform Token Terminal and blockchain explorer Tronscan.

Transactions and user activity rise

In the second quarter, Tron processed an average of more than 4.2 million active addresses daily. In addition, an average of around 190,000 new addresses were added each day. The total number of active addresses in Q2 was 16.4 million.

At the end of the quarter, the network had 8,291 nodes, an increase of 18% compared with the first quarter. More than 400 million accounts have now used the network at some point.

Stablecoins and TVL show further growth

Stablecoins remain one of the most important use cases on Tron. Total stablecoin supply on the network was $89 billion in Q2. Since then, the circulating amount of USDT on Tron has already risen to more than $94 billion.

TVL, the total amount of assets locked in protocols on the network, grew from $26 billion in Q1 to $28.15 billion in Q2, an increase of 8.27%. On the developer side, 561 code commits were registered, 82% more than in the previous quarter. There were also 10,200 unique contract developers active.

Start of Q3 in line with previous quarter

Based on the first weeks of the third quarter, the trend appears to be continuing. According to the data, $1.63 trillion in stablecoin transactions have already been settled in Q3 so far, which is comparable to the pace in Q2.
