The market capitalisation of tokenised stocks, meaning shares traded as digital tokens on a blockchain, has reached the $3.5 billion mark. BNB Chain takes the leading position with $1 billion, while the three largest networks together account for around 70% of the total market.

In brief:

  • Total market capitalisation of tokenised stocks stands at $3.5 billion as of 18 September 2026
  • BNB Chain ranks first with $1 billion, followed by Ethereum ($754 million) and Solana ($679 million)
  • The top three networks together represent around 70% of the market

BNB Chain claims top spot in growing market

According to data from CryptoRank.io and Token Terminal, BNB Chain leads with a $1 billion share in tokenised shares. Ethereum follows in second place with $754 million, while Solana ranks third with $679 million.

The rest of the market is divided among Arbitrum ($317 million), Avalanche ($230 million), X Layer ($159 million) and the Robinhood Chain ($156 million). The latter four networks together account for the remaining 30% of the market.

Ethereum and Solana also strongly represented

Ethereum, which currently stands at $2.580 with a rise of 4.6% in the past 24 hours, is one of the larger players in this segment with $754 million in tokenised shares. Analysts are closely monitoring developments around Ethereum; it was previously noted that Ethereum is in an accumulation phase.

Solana is also increasingly positioning itself as a platform for tokenised financial products. With $679 million, the network is close to Ethereum’s second place. Expectations for the Solana price are also positive; according to a recent analysis, the price could rise to $1.300.

The rise of tokenised stocks shows that traditional shares are increasingly finding their way to blockchain networks. Which network will attract the largest market in the long term depends partly on regulation, liquidity and the availability of underlying shares on these platforms.
