NEAR price drops to interesting accumulation level according to analyst
The NEAR price is at a level that analysts consider attractive for building positions. Michaël van de Poppe states that the higher timeframe clearly shows an accumulation zone, and that the recent decline actually offers an opportunity for investors looking to enter NEAR at a favourable price.
NEAR is available at OKX and Bybit.
NEAR declines due to its use as a bridge between ZEC and Bitcoin
According to Van de Poppe, the price decline of NEAR can be explained by the network being heavily used for swapping ZEC into Bitcoin. The increased usage puts pressure on the price but does not change the fundamental thesis behind NEAR. In the analyst’s view, that thesis has actually grown stronger.
The chart shows the price trading around €1,688. near a support zone that Van de Poppe marks as a “great area to be accumulating back in.” Above that lies a resistance level around €2,008. followed by a higher resistance at €2.552. Those who patiently wait for a dip to the current area are therefore buying at a historically interesting level.
AI protocols ready for a recovery, according to Van de Poppe
Beyond NEAR, Michaël van de Poppe is also looking at other AI-related projects. He expects TAO, FET and REZ to become active again soon. That suggests the broader AI sector recovery may be closer than many investors think.
The timing is striking because the crypto market has come under significant pressure in recent days. For example, BTC investors are currently sitting on a record loss of $920 billion, and the Bitcoin ETF outflow hit a record level of 2,450 BTC per day. Yet Van de Poppe sees an opportunity in the current conditions for those willing to accumulate at lower levels.
